March 27 to April 3, 2027
BRAAAAAP This trip is set up to help you be a better rider regardless of your skill level. If you're new to ADV riding or an old hand, you'll get a chance to add some new found skills to your riding. All the while you will have great hotels, because you don't have to sacrifce comfort to have a good time riding a motorcycle. We start this trip in Mexico City and ride down to the training facility, which is about an hour south of Mexico City near the town of Tepoztlan. Our Adventure Motorcycle Training Center has a deep water crossing, gravel and sand pits, hill climbs and acres of off-road riding for us to practice on. Afterwards, we'll put our new skills to the test on the BEST twisty riding in North America. As we make our way through the mountains, we'll stop at hot springs and a few other great places to chill. This trip really has something special for everyone. We also offer this trip to instructors from around the world to lead their own training - call us to set up your own training camp. Remember, since we will be riding at high elevations the daily trip destinations are subject to change based on weather conditions.

If You Need To Cancel
Mexico by Moto understands that plans change and circumstances don’t always work out for you to take a vacation when you wish, especially when we’re planning months or even a year into the future. We’re also a very lean company that works with smaller family owned hotels, and vendors in Mexico, as such when we put rooms, equipment, or other services on hold and then cancel with them, we often need to pay them, especially if it's very close to the date of travel. Saying all this, we have worked out with them what is fair, and what would be the optimal time to provide you with a 100% refund. We appreciate your understanding.
For our tours that run January through April.
If you cancel before December 1st, we refund 100% minus the $500 initial deposit we ask for.
If you cancel after December 1st, but more than 30 days before you travel it will cost 50% of the total price for your trip.
If you cancel within 30 days of your tour date you will not receive a refund.
All cancellation requests must be in writing via email to info@mexicobymoto.com
If Mexico by Moto Needs to Cancel
Planning for the future includes thinking about weather patterns, and other things that fall into the category of force majeure. We cannot predict if hurricanes, earthquakes, or other force majeure situations might affect our tour destinations before we travel. So we have some guidelines to help you understand how we handle these types of situations. We appreciate your understanding.
Force Majeure
If we need to cancel the trip more than 30 days before travel we can offer you a 100% refund, or a spot on a similarly priced trip of your choice.
If we need to cancel the trip within 30 days of the tour start date, we can offer you a spot on a similarly priced trip of your choice.
The only country’s travel bans we consider in making force majeure decisions is Mexico.
Low Participation
If less than 5 people have signed up for a trip we will offer you a 100% refund, or a spot on a similarly priced trip of your choice. If necessary, this decision will be announced 30 days prior to the travel date.

Each trip we have a kick off dinner so we can get to know everyone. On the last or night before the trip is over we have another special evening on us.
Once you get to our rally point at our hotel, we take care of accomodations and travel, we can help you sort out travel, but it's up to you to pay your own way.
During the day we'll stop for lunch, drinks, etc. Many times we may go out to dinner together, or you can venture out on your own. Nothing is mandatory.
Just like if you rent a car, you'll buy your own gas. The price can vary depending on the trip, but figure $10 to $15/day USD.
Sometimes parks or hot springs charge an entry fee.
We can't account for how you may wish to spend money on your trip, but for lunch, dinner, gas, tolls, etc., we usually recommend you bring an addtional $75 USD per day for a very comfortable trip.
Day 1 Saturday March 27
We'll meet at our Hotel in the Condessa Neighborhood in Mexico City. If you get in early we can recommend a ton of great places to sight see or get a drink near our hotel. Over dinner at our hotel overlooking the park, we'll talk about the trip and get to know each other before we head out on our adventure!
Day Two March 28
After breakfast we'll introduce you to your bikes for the week and then ride out south through the mountian passes to our Adventure Training Facility. On Sunday Mornings you can expect to see lots of bikers ripping through the curves with us. Once at the facility, our Motorrad trained and certified leader will put us through the paces and provide us with a chance to improve our skills in off-road and paved riding.
Day 3 Monday March 29
Practice, Practice, Practice! Our facility features deep water crossings, sand, gravel, woops, hills, cross country, and an indoor paved facility for all the challenges. No matter your skill level, there's a challenge here for you and a chance to learn something new. At the end of the day, we'll return to Tepoztlan for a well-deserved dip in the pool and a fantastic meal. Massage optional hahaha.
Day Four March 30th
Today we'll practice our skills in the wild! Our scouts have mapped some of the best mountain roads for you to put your new sills and confidence into practice; hairpin turns, switchbacks, cobble stone streets, unpaved hardpack, we have a little of everything. Remember that we have set this up so that people of all adv skill levels will enjoy the riding. We'll make a stop by a waterfall near our hotel in Taxco. Let the water wash away any stiff muscles and prepare for a curvy ride through the mountains. Taxco is one of Mexico's Puebla Magicos and is an old silver mining town.
Day 5 March 31st
After we have a light breakfast, we'll load up the chase van with our gear and hit the road. Today's destination is a mountain lake famous for weekenders from Mexcio City called Valle de Bravo. The riding will be great. Our route will take us through the backroads and tiny towns in Gurerro and Mexico States. Weather depending we'll ride up to Nevado de Toluca, a logging road winding through the elevations on our way to Valle de Bravo. Imagine passing through the pine trees and clouds while we brapp brapp BRAPPP!
Day Six April 1
Today is another beautiful day of riding in the mountains, and our destination is the little magic town of Angangueo. This town sits in the center of the Michoacan Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary, and if we get in early, we'll stop in one of the two main spots to see butterflies. For dinner, we'll make our way downtown to have snacks with the street dogs (these beloved dogs now called Carmellos)and tell some stories. The night will be cool, and like the butterflies, you'll bundle up at our cozy hotel and sleep well.
Day Seven April 2
Our last ride will take us back from our little towns to the fast-paced city highways. We'll be staying back in our favorite neighborhood, Condessa, where we'll turn in our bikes. There's one more spectacular event for us to take in. Tonight we'll go to the Lucha Libre wrestling match in Mexico City! Afterwards we can get late-night tacos and start planning your next trip with Mexico by Moto. When you wake up Saturday morning your trip with us will be over, but if you plan to stay on, we can help make all kinds of recommendations for you.
